I'm having trouble getting Q2 running on my RH9, I'm using ATI 7500 video card. I can get it to run but having issues with the mouse and graphics...
Any Ideas ?
When you go to the "VIDEO" section from the main screen in quake2, what driver does it say you are using? If it should be either "OpenGL GLX" or "OpenGL SDL" (preferably glx, works better on my system anyways)
I prefer SDL... try ./sdlquake2 +set vid_ref sdlgl. Make sure you have the latest version of SDL.
What issues are you having?
Did you compile with QMAX? (BUILD_QMAX=yes in Makefile)
Are these issues also present in other SDL games?
