what is the problem you are having as of right now ...
cause it just seems like we covered all this stuff but you are asking again ..
and just other silly stuff that isn't adding up ...
so where you at now?

Im seeing my init3 now, thanks to your NvAGP command
but startx wont show anything

well this is what i'd advise ... since i am running out of ideas, cause of the fact that i can't see these configs, or what errors can be happening, or even your installer-log to see if everything went smoothly, the last thing i can suggest is going to the nvidia fourms keeping in mind all the errors and symptons you have, and just search around and look at other peoples fixes ... and just go with the ol trial and error method ..
its the best i can do, sorry i couldn't be of more help ...
i am kinda tired, i may be missing the obvious or i may not be, but unfortunely i can't think of anything else besides whats stated above ..
