Hello,
Linux noob here, I'm having some trouble with the pcsx emulator. It runs great but I accidentally changed the control configuration and can't seem to change it back to default. I tried deleting it and reinstalling but no go, it remembers my configuration. I'm on Ubuntu 16.04, how can I fix this? I forgot to mention it's a PS4 controller that I wanted to configure but I don't know how to change the axis in options. (Fingers crossed)
I would use psx2 instead but every bios I try to select is greyed out and can't be picked.

I think that removing and reinstalling the application would only be expected to work if adjusting the configuration actually changed the installed package for everyone on the box. That is not generally the Linux way.
It is likely that changing your settings only changed some files under your home folder. Perhaps somewhere like ~/config/pcsx or ~/.pcsx as examples. If you just remove that folder containing those settings and then restart the application, it should rebuild that folder using the defaults. Note than no uninstalling is required for this.
