Question nvidia-settings vs nvidia-glx

which is better?

on my kubuntu install, when i try to install nvidia-glx, it wants to uninstall nvidia-settings and nvidia-xconfig.

i currently have nvidia-setting & -xconfig installed, but glxgears runs REALLLY crappy even in the default window size.

um... i have a gefore fx5200.

I can't see why it would want to uninstall those unless they're provided by nvidia-glx. nvidia-settings/-xconfig are just configuration apps, not actual drivers. Install nvidia-glx IMO.
