No sound in ENEMY TERRITORY with SUSE 9 Pro and ALC650 REALTEK soundcard...


All the linux mixers are not muted and full voice... Inside the game the sound is on and full... I cann't find the reason I hear no sound... The game is ET-linux-2[1].55.x86.run
This is the only reason I am thinking instaling again windows... please help....

Start ET from a console and see if there are any errors when it boots up.
As root, do chmod 777 /dev/dsp
Also, you might want to kill your artsd in case it is running.
