I have sound in Unreal Tournament 2004, but now I installed americas army and I have no sound. When I launch amerycas army this is what I get.
open /dev/[sound/]dsp: Resource temporarily unavailable
Xlib: extension "XiG-SUNDRY-NONSTANDARD" missing on display ":0.0".
What can be the problem?

Ok I see now I have no sound in any game neither in xmms but I have sound in the sound theme of gnome. It happened after upgrading to "hoary hegehog" which is ubuntu using SID of debian. XMMS says that I should check the soundcard to see if it is well configured.
