Nexuiz Bug Please Help :(

Hello. I installed Nexuiz with yum, anyway whenever I load it up out of Root when I try the player it keeps spinning around as if the left or right arrow key is always pressed. Can anyone help me?

You still using FC4?

When I browsed the F7 repos there were two different versions, so I picked the most recent one manually. Seems to work fine here. No crashes or other "bugs" that I've seen. Just need more people playing. ;)

Nexuiz started working fine all the sudden. Then I found out it is way to hard to play. Quake III is a much better Arena game, though commercial (well sort of) Software.

I am planning on getting F7, but I have a problem, you can only download a DVD version so I need to get a DVD Drive in my Computer.

Speaking of Arenas, I have an Unreal Tournament question. For UT 2004 or 2003 does it come with the Linux install shell script on the full version CD? It is way to big to download (Took a day to download the demo, and the shell script did not work in the end).

Oh and Happy Seventh Birthday LQ :)

Give it a chance. I already turned two quake Arena fanatics into nexuiz fans. Keyhunt mode is awesome. I agree that it's hard. You have to learn laser and rocket jumps sooner or later. But it's still way easier than Warsow.

Are you shure... This would be the first time I heard that a distribution will be DVD only. Anyway... I got mine for 20$ as far as I remember.

Tried Nexuiz again, managed to hold the lead for a little bit (Only because of the Rocket Launcher) but lost it and ended up third. And these were the easy Bots

That is the only thing I do not like about FOSS Games, they are often way to hard.

The good news is I gots me Quake (Be even better when I buy Ultimate Quake).

Oh and no one answered my Question "Speaking of Arenas, I have an Unreal Tournament question. For UT 2004 or 2003 does it come with the Linux install shell script on the full version CD? It is way to big to download (Took a day to download the demo, and the shell script did not work in the end)."

I never play against bots. I think these games are only fun when played against other people. But it sounds like your connection might be too slow :(
I just did a search, and it looks like there is a linux retail version out there. Just google for unreal-tournament+linux. Good luck finding a retailer :)
