New Linux Native Games for sale - Humble Bundle 4
I saw threads on humblebundle 2 and 3. Well here's one on HumbleBundle 4!
http://www.humblebundle.com/ It comes with 5 games: Super Meat Boy, Shank, Jamestown, Bit.Trip Runner, and NightSky. If you pay more than the average price, you'll also get two massive, well-loved indie favorites: Cave Story+ and Gratuitous Space Battles. I payed $15. It's funny, when you look at the averages at the bottom of the page Linux users are paying the most. Of course I know being a long time Linux user that we don't use Linux just because it's free, but because of our personal choices. Hopefully stats like that will prove once and for all the Linux community is more than willing to pay for games and other software so more companies will design for the platform. SAM |
Thanks For The Link & I'll Be Buying at least one Game When i Get Some Ca$h :D

What do you mean "at least one game"? It's a bundle deal. You pay the amount that you want to pay, and you get all the games.

These are rare linux native games
I just found this thread today and unfortunately the humble indie bundle 4 sale is over. I have been looking for ways to donate to get this specific bundle instead of having to torrent them to no avail. Also there appears to be no linux native torrent for "humble indie bundle 4" on the entire web. If ANYONE can point me in a direction to donate for these games that would make me a very happy man. If that option does not exist, then it would be fantastic for someone to upload a linux torrent of it on a good site like demonoid.me or thepiratebay.org. I want to keep these linux native games alive so others can enjoy native linux gaming.

Just sign up to be notified when the next one launches.
If you want the games now, then just buy them separately. Jamestown and Gratuitous Space Battles, for example, are available on Desura. Furthermore, I would consider your please-set-up-an-illegal-torrent request to be out of line. That's illegal even if the games aren't currently on the market (which many of them are). |
Thanks a lot Dungan, and sorry for going out of line there. In all reality torrenting is something I feel is in a philosophical gray area and avoid it at all costs. But if you want the complete Brahms symphonies from a specific collection, you have nowhere else to turn in most instances. That being said, it will not happen again and thanks a lot for the information, I am now the proud owner of a few select games I wanted. Also when the next indie pack comes out can you buy previous packs to the best of your knowledge?

Most of the bundles made the previous bundle available as a bonus for those who paid more than average.

Sweet, and I suppose my last question is, are there any other linux gaming steam-like sites like desura?
|
Gameolith.
There's also rumors of a Humble Store (by the Humble Bundle people) being in development. Of course, a lot of games (like Oil Rush and Amnesia) can be bought from their official homepages. |
