Neverwinter Nights wont work in im Slackware current

Im currently using Slackware current with linux kernel 2.4 i have followed everything in the bioware forum to make neverwinter nights work. i have downloaded the linux client. the thing is i was able to make the game run. but when ever i start a new game.. it exits prematurely after "loading the area". and there are no error message to start with.

i have nvidia driver installed. sound is working.. just cant seem to make the game start playing but it loads in the menu.

any help would be good.

i have this error when executing ./nwn

problem solved. i think there was a problem with my linux kernel. now the problem is fixed. this thread is now resoleved

im using the diamond edition of NWN and i just followed the steps written here : http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewto...69853&forum=72

all went well. but i havent installed kingmaker yet.
