I just made a lan party with a few people and i need to know how to get the free version of WineX 3.2 to at least play counter-strike 1.5, and Warcraft 3 TFT! I wanna know about wine, could it play warcraft3 tft GOOD? i know about cs already. and the last thin i wanna know is how to install it. and how to install the games! any bit information on doing this plus how to hook red hat linux up to a lan with 2 windows xp home/pro. im lost help! and do i need to install a new kernel? is it hard? if i have to then how? i have the stock red hat kernel i think it works for wine but not winex, so could i get some information on that too? sory if im asking for too much, but i can't boot into my windows partition to play my games. thanx.

the free version (from CVS) doesnt have install shield emulation, so youll need to have the games already installed. you can, however, find free versions with the install shields on the net in some places...
