Multiplayer on Serious sam 2?

I've installed Serious Sam: THe second encounter on my slackware machine, and it works great, but i need to know if it's possible to play multiplayer with my linux machine and my friends windows machine. I know that I have to do something to get it to work, but I don't know what :/
