Mouseproblem, playing pharaoh over cedega 4.4

Hey,
i just tried to play sierra - pharaoh using my linuxnotebook and cedega 4.4 so far everything works fine, but there is an annoying bug. the mouse pointer i see is about 2 cm away from the position where it actualy hits a when i press the button....
i allready tried to run it in windowmode, but that didn't changed anything:/

so i want to ask if you know a way to handle this problem or if you had similar troubles!?

thanks

taratx

Many times when I start Enemy Territory (online FPS), the screen will be off-centered and I just move my mouse cursor to every extreme (upper left, upper right, lower left, lower right) of the screen and it 'pushes' it into place.

Now, Transgaming doesn't list any playability ratings for the game yet, so it could be a bug on their end. Might want to report it.

I had the same problem as taratx. Moreover I couldn't find any solution in the Net. Google told me nothing useful. At this point I decided to solve the problem myself. After just a few tries I found the source of strange mouse cursor behaviour.

Pharaoh is rather an old game. It assumes that the screen resolution is 640x480. If your desktop has another resolution - you've got the problem. Even virtual desktop makes trouble. My solution is to run the Pharaoh in window with proper dimensions.

Here follows required configuration lines. Put it in the ~/.transgaming/config in <wineconf> </wineconfg> section.

Code:
;; Pharaoh
[AppDefaults\\Pharaoh.exe\\x11drv]
"Desktop" = "640x480"
Have fun.
