Low Fps Cedega Cs 1.6

LOW FPS ( post #7)

I only aget 4 to 7 fps in CS1.6 with steam running on cedega. And i only get 360-400 in glgears . Can anyone help?

ps: Running xorg as xfree cause ati in xorg ...

I believe it's your video card... It needs to be configured properly to run it right.

My Radeon 9000 gets nearly 2-5k in Glxgears... So your 9500 should be getting way up there.

Though my ATI experience in Linux has been sucky, and I couldn't help you getting them configured right.

EDIT** But see... with my 9800XT I get about 170 FPS in GLXgears... I mean c'mon now ; )

i get a constant 50-60 fps in CS1.6 using cedega and i get about 1700-1750 fps in glxgears....

do those specs sound right to anyone?

counter strike runs fairly well at 1600x1200 res, but why is my glxgears so low?
