Exclamation Linux Newbie experiencing UT2004 bootup crashes! Please Help!

As said in the title, i'm new to linux. i currently have suse 9.1 personal. And im having the hardest time trying to run UT2004. I have an Athlon 2600 512 PC3200 RAM and an Nviida MX4000 (not hundred) video card. Here is what the console says when i try to run it:

WARNING: ALC_EXT_capture is subject to change!
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Signal: SIGSEGV [segmentation fault]
Aborting.

Crash information will be saved to your logfile.
X Error of failed request: BadColor (invalid Colormap parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 79 (X_FreeColormap)
Resource id in failed request: 0x300000b
Serial number of failed request: 111
Current serial number in output stream: 113

I do believe that i've installed the drivers for the card (i.e. if i doubt myself and try to install it again, it says that i have this version installed). I've tried looking to see if anyone else has had this specific problem, but nothing useful turns up...please help! Assume i know very little to nothing about installling software on linux...i don't know enough to know that i don't know, if that makes sense. any contribution would be appreciated!

I've heard that mandrake is better...i want to switch to it (i have the .iso images already) but k3b won't see my cd burner...

back to the topic though...

what does all this mean? is it suse? bad driver?
