installing games

Hi
I downloaded America's army and Medal of Honor-Allied Assault. Information that I gleaned from other posts indicated that to install them I should type ./<filename> as root in a console window. I tried this with each file, typing both ./armyops200a-linux.bin and ./mohaa-lnx-1.11-beta2.run (the file names). Each time I got:

bash ./<filename>: Permission denied

Does anyone know what is going on here?

Thanks

Ok... never mind.

I swear, sometimes I get so wrapped up in trying to solve a problem, that the most obvious things go right over my head.

I just needed to change the permissions on the files... Geez!
