I installed cedega from an rpm I found for free on http://www003.portalis.it/ and when I try to run it:

wine WaW.exe

I get wine: exists lstat socke : No such file or directory

I found a few articles:

edit the .point2playrc file, but I can't find that on my system and wine -use-pthreads yes WaW.exe

Neither of those were successful. Any suggestions?

I ran into this exact same problem, but its a simple fix really.. just type

wineserver
wine your.exe

Thanks, I thought I had tried that, but aparently not because it got me past the lstat problem, but here are some new errors that I am getting. The first program runs under normal wine, but gets these errors under cedega.
