I just installed WineX


ok .. I just installed WineX into red hat 7.3 ...

to start the install ot the game I would use winex whatever.exe correct? ... well .. my problem is when I type winex I get "winex: not found" ...

where am I going wrong?

Try:
winex3 your_exe.exe

and how to you install games that require multi CD-ROMS to install? ....

how are you able to eject the CD and put the second one in?

If you've installed cvs winex, then the command is only wine. If you installed one of the pre-compiled packages, then it's winex3.

To install a multi CD-game, you should _not_ be located at the game cd rom mount point. Example installing Diablo 2:

Well .. that would be why winex or winex3 dosent work .. lol .. Thank you for clearing that up for me as I did install the cvs version ..

Cool! I had an old version of winex3, never tried the cvs myself, but looks like winex cvs version is called with only "wine" (or so I've heard ). I've been modifying the thread I've suggested you before, since it was quite dated. It's a little bit cleaner now, I hope
