I'm kind of a gamer, should I try Debian Linux?

I am somewhat of a gamer, and I have built a few gamimg machines, but I'm pretty new to Linux in general. I'm now starting to get into SUSE 10 and I'm hearing that Debian Linux is more conducive to a gaming envirnment. Is Debian a better gaming Distro? Are there more games that come with Debian? I would appreciate any information offered, and if anyone knows when the next Debian Distro is comming out. It looks like all the versions of Debian are old. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my questions.

Cool Debian distro

Debian distro is an Advancccce Linux OS and it contains alot of local games and internet games. I am currently using Mandriva Linux 2006 and I have also installed Debian on my other machine. Since I don't have a faster internet connect I cannot install Deb. You sure should try to install Deb, it is a good distro

Debain is as new or old as you want it to be, but I don't have any reason to believe it would be better for gaming than another distro. Games are just not supported on Linux like they are on Windows ... Has something to do with 90+% market share.
