How do I uninstall Doom 3 demo?
 
OK, I recently got the Doom 3 so I dont need the Doom 3 demo anymore, so how do I uninstall the demo?

Any help is appreciated!

Go to the folder you've installed it and see if they have a uninstall executable. If they don't, simply delete the folder and make sure the link at /usr/bin of Doom 3 is also gone. It's usually save to do this in Linux, it's not that some registries will be kept or anything ;)

I've been getting purple in the face trying to find any information about uninstalling the doom 3 .run package (Id's official one). There's gobs of stuff about the .rpm format (in my O'Reilly Linux book and on-line), so I get nervous that there's something "deep" about uninstalling a .run package. Is it really that simple?
Doom 3 for Linux (mine is SuSE 9.2) has a lot of graphics bugs. Invisible (unrendered) furniture, spider monsters with their legs on wrong, levels that don't load unless I change the path to the graphics inside the .pk4 to lowercase. The support has to (I'm talking to id, here) elevate much.
