Unhappy How can i play Doom?

Hey guys! About 5 days ago i installed chocolate doom, prboom+, zdoom (bescause gzdoom won't launch game, freeze when i select difficult level.) and some other. Zdoom won't save setting like display resolition, controls, mouse look etc. I installed zandronum and doomseeker-zandronum, settings saves, but i reinstalled my Xubuntu and on new xubuntu zandronum won't launch, memory dump or something like this, i installed Linux Mint, and now i installed chocolate doom, prboom+, zdoom and more, like earlier on my xubuntu but when i want launch game i have a problem, my terminal session:
$ zandronum
Zandronum 3.0.1 - 191013-1938 - SDL version
Compiled on Nov 3 2019
Using video driver x11

M_LoadDefaults: Load system defaults.
Gameinfo scan took 0 ms
W_Init: Init WADfiles.
 adding /usr/games/zandronum/zandronum.pk3, 689 lumps
 adding /usr/share/games/doom/freedoom1.wad, 3081 lumps
I_Init: Setting up machine state.
CPU Vendor ID: GenuineIntel
  Name: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3320M CPU @ 2.60GHz
  Family 6, Model 58, Stepping 9
  Features: MMX SSE SSE2 SSE3 SSSE3 SSE4.1 SSE4.2
I_InitSound: Initializing FMOD
FMOD Sound System, copyright Firelight Technologies Pty, Ltd., 1994-2009.
Loaded FMOD version 4.24.16
OSS could not be initialized. Trying ALSA.
corrupted size vs. prev_size in fastbins
interrupted (memory dump)
when i try launch using sudo, zandronum thinks, i dont have path to wads in config and won't start. Why now this doesn't work? And sorry for my bad English.

more info:
in /home/myusername/.config/zandronum/zandronum.ini i have path to wads, /usr/share/games/doom/

I apologize for digging this thread out of the back burner but I have something to add based on your output:
Zandronum as it is suffers from a bug where it's audio subsystem results in an instant crash on boot up with modern Linux.

You can launch zandronum with I believe -nosound to put it into a state where it does not initialize the sound system, that will get it running and allow you to dig through the menus to change to a different sound system that does work. After you've made that change you can remove the -nosound arg.

Zandronum is overdue for a major update but who knows when it is coming.

Crispy Doom is a limit-removing enhanced-resolution Doom source port based on Chocolate Doom.

sudo apt-get install cripsy-doom
Played the whole series with it, looks and works great.

Crispy is a wonderful source port, an easy recommendation for any vanilla or limit removing content.
