Hi all, I run slack10 and already have cedega installed aswell as hal life. I can play counter strike just fine how it is. I have HL2 now though ( DVD ) I mounted the drive and then ran

cedega setup.exe

and was greeted with the following error:

Your system requires the use of pthreads but the maximum system allowed stack si ze of 2052 kB may be too small for some games.
If you experience problems, try rerunning with "-use-pthreads no" which may help .
wine: '/root/.transgaming/wineserver-jed' must not be accessible by other users


I tried this command: cedega -use-pthreads-no setup.exe

But recieved the same error message.

If anyone can shed some light on this I'd appreciate it, i did try googling but the only results I found that seemed to be spot on were in spanish

Well, I am far from being a expert or even a experienced user YET!!! However I have read from TG forums people installing it on windows then do a file copy over to there linux machine the preforming install. I hope this helps.
