get sound lag in Quake 4

Hey guys,

I begin to slowly get sound lag in Quake 4 the longer I've had the game open. For instance, when i first start it, no lag, after like half hour, probably a quarter of a second lag, then after an hour probably a half a second lag... and so on.

Anyone else experience this?

Thanks!
George

I don't get that on my system. But then I get blown up a lot and have to reload the last save, so maybe I don't have a long enough run time between loads...
