Angry Fullscreen problems running windows games in linux

Hello!

I trying to use Linux for as much as possible, and at the moment I'm trying to get my Windows games to work. I'm using CrossOver Office for this.

I tried with Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast at first, and installation seemed to work out fine, though the whole installation screen was mocked up, and I couldn't see a thing.

The actual game works, with one problem, windowed mode doesn't work so I "have" to run in fullscreen (which is what I want, really, but here comes the catch). While I use 1280x1024 as my desktop resolution, X wants to pan the screen when I move the mouse to the bottom of the screen and to the right.
I found out that I could prevent it by switching to 640x480 desktop resolution before I start the game. But then the KDE panel lies in front of everything.
Well I can hide it, and I can set it to accept other programs lying in front of it, but I don't want to! I don't want to:

* switch screen resolution
* hide the taskbar
* have it to be underneath the other programs and so on

Is there any way to disable the panning?
