Finding Linux Games

I feel I will always be a Newbie! I just switched to Linux Mint this week and already my bride of many years is less than enchanted because she can't play scrabble. I have searched and understand that scrabble isn't available and so, ok, what I need to know now is:

1. Where can I find a list of games that are available for Linux (I have installed Wine)?

or

2. Is there somewhere that I can search for games to download, if I know the name of a game?

Thanks, and -- Welcome to My world!

Wow! Thx for the reply-- that opened my eyes as to how many games are about war, hunting, breaking, smashing, etc.

Clearly, i was not specific enough! The kind of games my wife is looking for are word games like crossword puzzles, jumble, bookworm, etc.

Help finding word games in these categories would be so much appreciated!

And:

https://www.humblebundle.com/store (click on "Platform: Linux" to filter out the non-Linux games). Not sure how many word games they have.

You might want to look into flash games for crosswords, word puzzles and the like.
