Dark Age of Camelot in Winex (Cedega)

According to transgaming's website, DAoC can run in the game. I've actually been able to make it run, once. But that was before a full reformat, and i'm even on a different OS now than I was then, with the 2.6 kernel.

However, I have not been able to make it run, even with the newest Point2Play and Cedega4.

The installation goes smoothly. When I execute the game, it prompts me for my CD key, and it even goes through the entire patch process. Once it's done with that, I try to execute the game again, and it just locks up after the login screen.

Has anyone been able to get this game working? And if so, please let me know so I can quit using my room mate's Windows computer

I'm pretty sure (at least with certain games) Transgaming doesn't support the new kernel as of yet. I've heard of many conflicts and whatnot, so unless someone else has gotten it working on 2.6, I'd say you're out of luck :\. Check on Transgaming's website and see if there is any pertinent information for you specific game. gl.

well, i had the same problem when I was still running the 2.4 kernel, and i thought that maybe the new kernel would fix the problem. tried it w/ Winex 3.3 and with Cedega 4, and still having the exact same thing happening.

so two versions of Winex and two different kernels and getting the same "lockup".

has anyone here been able to get this game to work?
