Cedega, FC4, and x86_64
Well, the title says everything except "Demo".
I've been trying to get the 15-day Cedega Demo installed, but whenever I try it just gives me: "Uncompressing Cedega Time Demo... " and then stops. I tried asking the company but there answer is that their full installer is different then their demo installer and to get the real thing. But the problem is if I can't even see a working demo why would I pay for it? Could anyone provide some successful tips on this? I keep on waffling back and forth between windows and linux, and let's face it - it's always because of the games. Sure would hate to have to fall over the fence again just because a demo doesn't work. (Unless someone knows how to get WoW working without Cedega. ;-) ) Fedora Core 4 AMD64 Cedega 15-day Demo |
WoW runs well under WINE. For help getting it running go here:
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Install...raft_with_wine I had the WoW trial running on my computer with no problems except it was too slow to play, but I am only running an AMD Sempron 2400 and an ATI 9600XT. Part of my problem is probably video card drivers... I |
