Cedega Configuration Issues
Hellos,
I'm having issues with playing eq with cedega. I suscribed so I could use the better verion to play EQ with but I don't seem to be having any luck.
Here's what I've done so far if anybody could give me a hand that would be awesome.
Mandrake 10.0 standard install
fglrx-4.3.0-3.9.0.i386.rpm = ATI Radeon 9600 SE installed fine no errors
I was using CVSWinex and was able to get all the way to the server selection screen very smoothly but when I selected the server it would go black a second as it normally does heading to the lodading screen then lock. I looked in my terminal and saw it had an error creating a raw socket, wanted to run as root. I tried to run as root and it got the same error. Figured it was a problem with CVSWinex so I searched and found people saying that cedega-4.0-1.i386.rpm was working just fine. I signed up and tried it.
With cedega-4.0-1 I can get to the loading screen and to character selection then to the world for just a efew seconds. When I get tot he world all of the textures are missing the only thing I can see is the npc's for jus a couple seconds then it flashes pinkish/gray and pretty much locks up.
I've noticed one thing with cedega there is a 1-2 second lag every 7-8 seconds like the system just hit a speed bump or something, I didn't get that at all in CVSWinex.
below is my config file for cedega.

I'm not sure if I just haven't configured it right or not any help would be appreciated. If somebody has a fix for the raw socket in CVSWinex that would be fine as well as it seemed smoother in the screens I was able to get in to.
