cedega and CS: condition zero


I have a problem when i try to install condition zero over Cedega 4.3.2.System is Suse 9.2 pro.Everything goes fine with first cd but when setup asks for second cd nothing happens.In search path installer looks in disk F:, i tried other disk letters but it didn't work.It just can't recognize second cd and it always gives system bell signal.WHU?I tried to copy cd #2 to hd and to contionue setup from there but it didn't work.Any help,PLEASE?!

if it wouldn't be too difficult, get steam, register the cd-key to an account on steam, then it should download CSCZ to your computer, and disks wont be a problem, unless you have dialup also, try the mount function in point2play, that might solve your problem.

Unfortunetly I HAVE A DIAL UP conection so i would appreciate if anybody have some good sugestion what to do...

Thats too bad... do you use command line cedega or point2play? If you use point2play i can help.

I have cedega 4.3.2 and i use grapevine as a front-end for it.But never-the-less it would be very nice if you can give me advice about using it in point2play

Ok, in point2play, there should be a button that says mount (2.0). when you switch disks with the install, use this instead of the systems unmount function. Otherwise, alot of installers hang, give you errors, etc.

also, try copying BOTH disks to HD. Don't make two folders (one for each disk), copy BOTH disks into a folder called CSCZ. Try installing from there.

well, i have tried to copy both disks into one directory and it didn't help.also it is not the problem in mounting disks they are always properly mounted.i also tried installing over .iso images but it didn't work.there is always problem with second disk.

do you have a friend with a high speed internet connection? If so, he should be able to copy the backup of CSCZ for you (from steam). I had to do this for my CSCZ (I had gotten it like .. 1 month before I got cable internet *lol*) when one of my disks got scratched (5 flights of stairs is not a good thing for a disk). Sorry I couldn't give you a more direct solution. Sounds like a disk problem.
