Can not create filter graph - Morrowind

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone out there had ever experienced the following error while attempting to play Morrowind:

Code:
Music Error: Can not create filter graph
I've searched extensively and have only found a few posts pertaining to it on various forums. The official Morrowind forums actually has a post with the same problem, unfortunately no solution was ever posted.

I actually have Morrowind and the two expansions installed and updated using the Loki installer. Running plain ole Wine, recent CVS snapshot (20050628).

Everything starts up fine, loads the .csm files (I think that's the extension anyway...not at home right now) and a dialog containing said error doesn't pop up until it says it's loading the data files.

I'm searched and searched and have been unsuccessful so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
