Can't use "ctrl" key in games using Fedora Core2 test3 and nvidia drivers.

I can't use ctrl in condition zero with winex3. It's the first time this happens to me and it's pretty annoying what it does is it opens up console which is binded to the key left to 1 ( I don't know what it's called...) and I tried unbind in the game but it doesn't work... It seems to be linux binding ctrl key to the other key. Maybe the nvidia drivers(default) are binding ctrl to some other key. Any help to fix this would be appreciated.
