Call Of Duty

Can someone please help

I have installed the Linux Server for Call of Duty 4. It has installed ok, and fires up without any problems. But When I try to access it from the remote server, RCON v 0.5, I am asked for the Password for the server. Obviously my assumption is that I need to configure the Linux Ded Server.
Can someone please tell me where this config file is, as I am not able to find it. I have looked in the linux directory for the server but not sure exactly what I am looking for. Can someone please show me how to configure this server

Thank You for your time

It should say in some kind of Readme file.

Otherwise it's either in /etc/<setupfile>,

Or ... /etc/callofduty(or something)/<setupfile>

Otherwise it might be in your home directory, either at the top or a subdirectory.

You could search your system using "find", or if you run the "updatedb " database you can use "locate" to nail down where the file might be.

Let me know how punkbuster behaves. I'm thinking of getting this, but don't want to bother if I'll keep getting kicked out of servers LOL.

Read up on punkbuster on linux. It works but you need to update it manually if you are getting punkbusted incorrectly. Usually this happens because punkbuster is out of date.
