BZFlag?
Whenever I attempt to run bzflag with my ATI Radeon 9600 XT video card, I receive an error:
bzflag: /usr/lib/libGL.so.1: no version information available (required by bzflag) Could anyone tell me what that means? If so, it would be a very big help. Thanks. |
It means that openGL isn't properly installed, or theirs a problem. I think ATI cards can only do openGL ( hardware 3D ) if you use the ATI drivers.

Does anything think there may be a possible fix for this - obviously there is but I am not so sure of what to do. Currently, I am using the ATI drivers and Mesa3D with libGL. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this problem, please let me know if possible.

Don't use mesa3D use the stuff from ATI, it should have openGL with the driver. ( I can't be sure though as I use Nvidia )

Yep mesa3D forces everything into software rendering mode. As leonscape said.
