bad magic number in superblock
Ok ... this is whacky ... i installed slackware .. put lilo on my superblock
well i got ready to delete slackware (im selling the laptop is the only reason)
i formatted the hdd and when i boot i cant boot from a cd .. it goes straight to lilo (which is magically still there) so i remember its on the superblock .. which im not real sure how to get rid of anyway *my question starts here* lol
the filesystem check returns the error 'bad magic number on super-block' and fdisk gives me some whacky parameters that dont fit the hdd (i assume is from this bad magic number mess)
so .... any idea guys?
any input is appreciated
thanks a lot !
