Anyway to make linux games go faster by tweaking opengl somehow?

Maybe by disabling high detail stuff...things like that. I'm talking about outside of the game americasarmy(unless you know some good performance tips for this), and maybe in the xorg.conf...but i want to affect the opengl drivers themselves to try and squeeze out some more performance if possible.

I have read that tweaking the AGP arperture (spelling?) size in the bios can aid graphics performance. Can't remember the details, but if you search on google you'll probably find something.

Well, AGP aparture size should be 1.5x - 2x of your Graphic card memory, independing on your OS.
