Among Us won't launch on Arch Linux
Hello, I got Among Us on my computer through Steam but it will not launch and it says the error “Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed” and I added PROTON_USE_WINED3D to the launch options for Among Us and it will bring up a window with the icon of Among Us and a loading bar. I did use this command in the past and it worked until I had to reinstall Linux. My Among Us proton log is linked here and my system specs is an Arch Linux system running Linux-zen 6.2.7-zen1-1-zen with an AMD FX-8350, and my GPU is an AMD Caicos [Radeon HD 6450/7450/8450 / R5 230 OEM]

You seem to know more about this than I do. You have some kosher method of getting 32bit libs on there? Debian is normally 64bit these days, and 64 ≠ 32, so your normal libs puke. The 'fork without exec' error points at a binary being told to execute something not marked as excecutable. That's a show stopper.

Thank you for responding! I am not using Debian, I’m using Arch Linux and I think I have the required lib32 packages. I have a newer GPU and I put it in my machine and the application did launch. (I cannot use the newer GPU because it has a hardware issue). I believe I am missing a driver for my graphics card and I’m trying to install different driver packages and hope it works.

Sorry I haven’t responded in awhile, I did look at the links teckk sent and nothing in the articles fixed the issue. I got my hands on another computer and I used Debian and the issue was not present on that PC, so I wiped and installed Debian and the issue is resolved.
