Question Added to favorites and enabled high scores in MAME - now there's 'hi' and 'ui' folders in home folder.

Hi.

I added a MAME game to my favorites and enabled high scores - now there's 'hi' and 'ui' folders in my home directory. How do I edit ~/.mame/mame.ini to have those folders there instead?

Thanks.

Exclamation

In the ~/.mame/ui.ini file, I changed the line:

ui_path [TAB] ui
to
ui_path [TAB] $HOME/.mame/ui
and it works.

However I also changed the line
scores_directory [TAB] hi
to
scores_directory [TAB] $HOME/.mame/hi
and it still creates a 'hi' folder in my home directory and ignores the 'hi' folder in my ~/.mame/ directory.

This [image attached] is where I enabled the high score option.
