3D acceleration Gforce-fx Fedora Core
 

I'm running fedora core, I have a Gforce-fx video card. I can't play some games. It tells me that I don't have 3D acceleration turned on. I also tried download a new driver for the video card. I don't really know what I'm doing. Is there some place to download a driver that will have 3d acceleration?

Installing the driver can be tough for someone who isn't well versed in linux. In order to get the driver installed, you need to have you're kernel sources installed, and do a little editing of the xfree config file. Otherwise, it's usually relatively easy.
