16bpp + fglrx

It looks as though the fglrx ATI drivers don't support 16 bit colour mode, but certain games require 16bpp, and don't offer any alternative. Is there any way I can run such games using the fglrx drivers, for example by somehow making Cedega run the game in a different colour mode to what the game asks for?

I expect the answer is no, but I'd like to know for sure... If you can let me know, then thanks .
