X compilation problems

Hey peoples,

for those of you who read my previous post(in another section of the forum) Im still experiencing the same problem when installing Xfree86. I reinstalled my LFS, I tried to compile anolder version of X, nthing works, my computer keeps totally freezing up. It might be a hardware issue but I doubt it, because my computer never ever ever crashes under Linux no matter what I do...(my windows partition locks up my computer almost every single time I use it.) Im desperate, I love LFS, but I´m getting really sick of not being able to compile X...please please please does anybody have any suggestions? I even tried #ing some of the commands in the Makefile which had already been completed before the system crashed, but this results in a screwed up install and forces me to untar X again and start all over....

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

btw I have no floppy or internet so no patch suggestions either
