I'm building LFS, and since its moving along so well, I figure I better start thinking about X. I want to use the easiest to install because I have a really basic video card that doesn't need (or can't even use) anything fancy. I see I have options of:

Xorg-6.9.0
XFree86-4.6.0
Xorg-7.1

Is there anything else I should install right away?

Another thing, I would really like to boot my new LFS (first boot) into X. Could I install an X server before I reboot into LFS for the first time? I really like to cut 'n paste in commands rather than type them out!

scratch this question for now. I got a kernel panic on the first boot, so I'll figure that out first. I knew I was jinxing myself by asking this!

I think, maybe Xorg-6.9.0 is better than others, it's easy to install..
I'm not yet finish my X window system, so let's we work together to make X for our LFS..
