where to extract file in chapter no 6 i.e 6.7 in book 6.6

I have to 6.7 but I don't where to extract linux- file
because when i give tar jxf /home/bhism/linux-
command then it says .Cannot open: No such file or directory

So do tell me that.

Where have you put the file, i.e. in which directory?

EDIT: Oh, sorry, didn't notice it earlier, but are you really doing this as another user, and not as the lfs user?? No wonder you got the error. You should follow the instructions in the book if you want a successful build.
