v8.4: End of Chapter 8, and Chapter 9, some typos. need to fix

So I FINALLY finished all to the end. I try to boot and see I have some typos/errors dealing with GRUB I need to fix so it won't boot into the OS because of them.

I mount the drive again, go back into the chroot environment, and see I have no editor available.

Advice on how to correct those?

Thanks!

How about mounting the drive and not chrooting until after you've fixed the typos?

(In fact there may not be a need to chroot at all, unless you have to reinstall grub.)

I am worried about screwing things up while no in chroot.

What I am doing now is just deleteing the files, then pasting again the corrections.

Thanks for taking the time to put your ideas here.

Going to go ahead and close this out.

Just using rm I did all the corrections, and finally got LFS booting for the first time after a couple of tries before.
