Question test suite for glibc failing | chapter 6.9.1

In chapter 6.9.1. Installation of Glibc. When running the test i get the following errors:
Code:
root:/sources/glibc-bu1ld# grep Error glibc-check-log
make[2]: [/sources/glibc-bu1ld/posix/annexc.out] Error 1 (ignored)
make[2]: *** [/sources/glibc-bu1ld/nptl/tst-attr3.out] Error 1
make[1]: *** [nptl/tests] Error 2
make[2]: *** [/sources/glibc-bu1ld/debug/tst-chk3.out] Error 1
make[2]: *** [/sources/glibc-bu1ld/debug/tst-lfschk3.out] Error 1
make[2]: *** [/sources/glibc-bu1ld/debug/tst-chk6.out] Error 1
make[2]: *** [/sources/glibc-bu1ld/debug/tst-lfschk6.out] Error 1
make[1]: *** [debug/tests] Error 2
make[1]: *** [/sources/glibc-bu1ld/c++-types-check.out] Error 1
make: *** [check] Error 2

Hi,

the annexc.out error is non-critical and ignored. In the book it is also mentioned that some tests will fail, especially some nptl tests. There will be more packages that will have some failed tests. As long as you as you do not get any errors during compilation you are probably fine.

Thanks. Somehow it passed all the tests today, Even annexc.out (don't know whether to be happy or afriad about this). I changed nothing that i can think of, didnt even recompile it. Weird.... Installed fine too.

Your new glibc installation seems to be ok.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/sources/glibc-2.11.1'
Or so it seems.
