Some help please with chaper 8.3 of LFS6.0.
Hi all,
I need a little help. I am stuck on chaper 8.3 of LFS6.0. Everything up to this point has been smooth and I think I might have missed somthing.
I have untared the linux-2.6.8.1.tar.gz archive into /sources/linux-2.6.8.1 and when I run the first command 'make mrproper' I get this error:
Makefile:431: /sources/linux-2.6.8.1/arch//Makefile: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `/sources/linux-2.6.8.1/arch//Makefile'. Stop
Am I in the wrong spot to execute this or is an ok warning? Also do I need to untar anything else?
