Howdy!

I haven't gotten that far in the LFS manual (5.0), but i was downloaded the kernel2.4.22 and I was just thinking that if I have a dual processor system should I download a different kernel?

If any knows please let me know!

no, just configure it to use SMP, easy as that really. it's in the processor type section on the config.
