Exclamation Resuming lfs build

Happy Holidays!

I am trying to build CBLFS, I understand that I need to build CLFS first. I have some doubts -

1. Can I use parted magic live cd (x86) to build CLFS-x86_64. Parted loads fast and is flexible. I tried build with LFS Live CD but there are issues building latest stable LFS with 2.6.22 kernel in LFS Live CD. I can use openSUSE as well but I dont have much space in /home.

2. How do I resume build before reaching ckroot stage and after rebooting. How do I resume build after chroot stage (is it similar to that of Gentoo).

3. Should there be a different path variable for live cd and/or linux from hdd.

Best,

Dave
