thanx for helping..can u tell me one more thing
when is the newer version of LFS will be released??becoz if it is about to get released i can wait for that....
thnax in advance...
I'm not aware that a new LFS is coming soon(ish). LFS 6.4 is the latest, stable version. I do know that they are working on LFS 7 (supposed to be 64 bit), but I don't have a clue when it will be available (be it an RC or the Stable version).
BLFS version is 6.3 (Stable) and the announcement that 6.4 Stable is coming is on the site for a couple weeks now. Again, no clue when it will actually be available. BLFS 6.4 development is available atm, but no guarantees are given.
This is for LFS 6.3 and has no packages included. The only thing that counts for you is to have a host system that works.
After downloading and burning the ISO boot from it and start with LFS 6.4. You do seem to have the needed packages to build 6.4, it's also a good idea to have the documentation handy.

The 'other user' downloaded all the LFS 6.4 packages already, don't know if that is true for you as well. If not: Just follow the LFS 6.4 book, you get to the downloading part soon enough.
