Please Help for glibc pass2 chap 6 of lfs5.1.1

please help me friends....
i have posted the message below before but didn't got any reply. i m not able to track the error exactly.please help me how to go about this...
i m not able to continue my project bcoz of this error.please help me.

glibc -2.3.3-lfs5.1 make error ch.6 ( post #1)

i am in chapter 6 on lfs 5.1.1
i am using r.h.linux 9 as host system
i am getting following error in the "make" of glibc
everything worked well in chapter 5 during glibc installation

These were the last few lines
can some please help me in this?

This error can arise due to many situations.

The most notorious of them is ur environment variables?
Did you restart your system at some point?
If you did...did you set the environment variables again?

Follow these steps

1) Go back to the begining of the chapter 6 and see what environment variables are being set...

2) check your chroot command

3) Did you installed the linker properly in Bin utils. What was the result of the dummy.c prog

First perform these steps and then tell me...i'll try to help you as much as i can
