pass 2 of binutils

lfs 6.6
what should I had to do before the installation of the second binutils ? should I unpack it again? delete the old binutils_build directory? something else ?

unless instructed otherwise you should unpack it again. Read this section again:

After every step of installing any package ...you'll have to remove the source and the build directory unless there are some other instructions.
