Openssl -1.0.0d FAILS

I would like to report a problem with openssl-1.0.0d
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs...s/openssl.html
If you use this version it fails with cant find recent openssl crypto.
I tried fixing problem with different installs.
I found that openssl-1.0.0b
http://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-1.0.0b.tar.gz works fine, all from Blfs book html download.

Hope this helps some ppl

What failure do you see? 1.0.0d has installed ok on my build, do you see a run-time error? Do you have Kerberos or Heimdal (I don't).

Sorry the error came with trying to build ssh it would not find ssl 1.0d i went back and installed 1.0b ssh then installed straight away. I do see on original post i forgot to mention it was causing ssh the problem
